This years United States Aquatic Sports Convention will be in Atlanta, Ga. from September 21st-25th. The USAS Convention represents USA Swimming, USA Diving, USA Synchro, USA Water Polo, and US Masters at the world level (FINA). The annual convention raises a significant amount of money that supports the teams in international competition.
Coach Courtney will be representing the North Florida Diving Association as a Coach and will have the opportunity vote on important changes to USA Diving. Our Junior Olympic Diver, Savannah Brown, will also be attending the convention as an Athlete Representative. Savannah will also have the opportunity to sit in on important meetings regarding the future of USA Diving as well as vote for changes.
Coach Courtney's practices for this week (Wednesday, September 21st through Friday, September 23rd) may be altered, however, we are trying our best to keep practices running as normal while she is away.
